## Challenge

CRIF asked how to rethink engagement with current and future B2C and B2B2C clients, with a focus on Gen Z, whose needs differ from earlier generations.

## What the team learned

Gen Z wants to make a direct impact through its choices but lacks a quick way to do so.

## What they built

ESGo is a mobile app. Users scan any product or search any company and get an easy-to-read ESG score based on quantified factors. A comparison finds the company closest to their values, and a community feature lets them discuss products.

## Impact

CRIF, known for credit scoring, would provide a trusted score and build a relationship with Gen Z, a future customer group it must address differently.

## Full project text

A new application that lets you find out how your favorite products are rated in terms of environmental, social and governance ranks. It helps you to make informed decisions and impactful purchases.

### Challenge

How might we rethink the way CRIF is engaging with current and prospect clients in B2C and B2B2C,
with a special focus on the customer journey and engagement of Gen-Z groups and individuals?
As for Gen-Z becoming incredibly important as a future customer group, they have different needs and expectations than generations before.

### Solution

Young people of generation Z want to make a direct impact with their choices but they often lack a quick solution that helps them do so.
ESGo lets you scan any product and search any company.
It provides the customer an easy to understand score based on scientific and quantified factors. The score consists of the categories, Environment, Social and Governance. This way the customer can see if the company's behavior is in alignment with their own values and make the correct choices. Sharing ideas and discussing products with your community helps to further promote responsible behaviour and get inspiration for ESG compliant products.

### Impact

Thanks to ESGo generation Z is finally able to easily contribute towards sustainable brands. Adopting a more active and responsible role in their consumer choices can now be integrated into their everyday life. Gathering reliable information about the way companies truly behave in terms of environmental, social and governance topics has always been tricky before. With CRIF providing the score the consumer knows there is a trustworthy company, known as the market leader in credit scoring, evaluating the ESG factors.
In this way CRIF is able to build a close relationship with generation Z. A generation that will be a future target group but needs to be addressed differently.
A generation that leads the change the world needs.
