Takeda – Twinnie X A-Wake 2025/26An AI mirror and health profile that turn daily skin monitoring into doctor-ready summaries.TakedaPotsdam DE · Hefei CNDigital service2025/26

Problem

Digital health tools remain fragmented and disease-focused. Takeda asked how a next-generation interface could integrate treatment, wellness and lifestyle into one continuous health journey.

What they built

A-Wake, an AI-powered mirror, runs daily voice and image check-ins and detects lesion changes over time. Twinnie stores the data in a patient-controlled profile and generates a one-pager before each appointment.

Impact

Patients track 90 days of symptom trends and arrive better prepared; clinicians decide faster. Takeda gains real-world longitudinal data on disease progression and treatment response.

InCosyA system that collects caregivers' concerns at shift handover and matches them with product solutions.Diakonie BadenMannheim DE · Karlsruhe DEDigital service2022/23

Problem

How might a scalable solution help caregivers take charge of their own well-being and create an attractive work environment?

What they built

InCosy records concerns during shift handovers and suggests curated products. Chosen solutions go to the home lead for purchase and a guided team briefing; caregivers give regular feedback.

Impact

Caregivers shape procurement, home leads find the right tools faster and Diakonie becomes a more attractive employer.

DAMUTeleconsultation practices with on-site medical staff that bring trustworthy care to rural areas.Medicas GmbHMannheim DE · Paris FRService concept2021/22

Problem

Rural general practitioners are retiring faster than newcomers arrive. Seniors distrust remote consultation, the only alternative they are offered.

What they built

At a DAMU practice, medical staff greet patients, take measurements and handle the technical set-up. The doctor joins remotely in a teleconsultation room equipped with four examination tools.

Impact

Patients get a human, trustful visit. Medicas reaches more rural patients while its doctors work flexibly from different locations.

PsokeyAn app that lets psoriasis patients record symptoms and share a clear overview with their dermatologist.UCBModena IT · Paris FRDigital service2020/21

Problem

Psoriasis patients face stigma and lifelong treatment, and often abandon it. Consultations last 15 minutes, leaving little time to understand symptoms.

What they built

Patients log medical history, symptoms and crises in one app. During consultation, the physician opens a board view with a temporary code. Reminders and pharmacy ordering complete the service.

Impact

Consultations save time for both sides and focus on what matters. Patients carry less mental load and engage more in their care.

DaisyA home device and app for oral self check-ups that flag caries and gum-disease risk.Medicover StomatologiaBologna IT · Warsaw PLPhysical product2019/20

Problem

Many people, especially Millennials, dread the dentist, postpone appointments and do not know how to care for their teeth. The brief asked for prevention.

What they built

Daisy combines a device, an app and contact with dentists. A self check-up monitors general oral health and the risk of caries and gum disease, with personalised tips.

Impact

Patients control their oral health and avoid the fear of unexpected diagnoses and painful procedures.

DaodadA platform that connects general practitioners with specialists to cut diagnostic delays for rheumatic patients.UCBParis FR · Milan ITPlatform2019/20

Problem

Rheumatic diseases affect 2-3% of people, yet patients wait about six months for a specialist. GPs lack a direct line to hospital specialists.

What they built

Daodad lets doctors search specialists by advanced criteria and request an urgent slot or peer-to-peer consultation, designed with doctors and with a focus on data privacy.

Impact

Waiting time drops from almost six months to under a week. The platform works for all doctors and pathologies.

HabitualA tracking app that helps people with narcolepsy understand how symptoms, medication and lifestyle interact.TakedaPotsdam DE · Melbourne AUDigital service2019/20

Problem

How might people with narcolepsy predict and manage their condition? Behaviour change is central, but each person's symptoms and lifestyle factors interact differently.

What they built

Habitual lets users track their specific symptoms at a time of day that suits their energy. Over time, the data shows correlations with medication, lifestyle and sleep.

Impact

Users adapt routines based on their own patterns. A customisable report supports better conversations between patient and practitioner.

VolyymiA discreet sensor and app that tell catheter users how full their bag is.Enable IrelandDublin IE · Espoo FIPhysical product2019/20

Problem

Catheter users cannot tell how full their bag is during the day. The resulting anxiety and dependence on others lower quality of life.

What they built

Volyymi attaches to existing catheter bags, measures urine volume and hydration, and sends real-time data to an app with personalised fullness and hydration alerts.

Impact

Users regain independence and drink enough without fear of overflow, which supports the immune system and reduces urinary tract infections.

Floor in motionA tablet-on-cart alert system for nursing staff built on fall-detecting floor panels.TarkettParis FR · Kyoto JPDigital service2016/17

Problem

Integrate Tarkett's motion-sensing flooring where it helps most: hospitals and nursing homes, where recovery from falls declines with age.

What they built

Tablets fixed to caretakers' carts connect to the Floor in Motion system so staff can monitor residents at night while staying mobile. A pilot ran in a nursing home.

Impact

A safer and more comfortable home environment for the elderly.

Abbi - Patient Support Service for the Chronically IllA chatbot that lets multiple sclerosis patients track well-being for their doctors and follow exercises, for Merck KGaA.MerckSt. Gallen CH · Espoo FI · Zurich CHDigital service2015/16

Problem

How might a support service help chronically ill patients throughout their journey and encourage them to take an active role in their everyday life?

What they built

Abbi is an easy-to-use chatbot focused on exercises for people with MS. It gives the corporate partner flexibility to develop the service further.

Impact

Patients track their condition regularly and provide information healthcare professionals lack. Merck gains direct patient relationships and real-time insight, within data protection rules.
